I am here to help advertise the GESS peer tutoring programme.
Mr Chan is looking for more ppl to join.
So, if u are able to come back and help ur fellow juniors, pls do so.
This will benefit not only the tutee, but also the school (better results) and urself (CIP hrs + revision of sec 4 stuff)! <-- killing 3 birds with 1 stone

Sessions will be on Mondays (4.45pm onwards) and Thursdays (3.00pm onwards) weekly.
As long as u can come for any session, be it every week or alternate weeks, u can do ur part to help out!
Ur help is much appreciated!

To join, just come down for any of the sessions and look for Mr Chan.

First of all,

Timothy has proposed to visit Mr Ben Tan on 30th Jan (Friday)
This was exactly what he wrote on MSN at 2315hrs on 28 Jan.

So some of us are thinking of vising Mr. Ben Tan this coming Fri anytime from noon to 3pm at St. Andrews and we're wondering if you would like to come as well.
I know it's a rather last min decision but pls come if you can cuz it's prob the last time we'll be seeing him (and thanking him and talking to him and catching up and all) before tchrs' day which is on Sept.
Of course this would be entirely diff for those going SAJC but well that's the minority right?

People! We have decided on the final dates for the chalet!
Not everyone casted the vote, but all were asked to and replied.
The final dates:
18 NOV 2008 TO 20 NOV 2008
This date won by 8-5-6 compared to two other option.
We'll wait for Aaron's mum to book the chalet meanwhile.
Also, I'll calculate cost per person and announce it shortly.
No backing out even it costs $7498701491.
Please, upon its announcement, make the message spread like virus.
Because hopefully I could collect back the money for Aaron asap.
Meanwhile, I need someone to organize BBQ. No worries on pit, just get the food at best price, and also calculate it asap, you would also want to collect it asap what.

Hi, I got a even bad-der news. The E math Paper is being brought forward to Tuesday (9/9) in place of mother tongue paper 1. So both Mother Tongue Paper 1 and 2 is on 15 Sept.
And on 10 Sept (weds), the E math paper 2 will be first followed by Physics Paper 2.

GESS NCC CIP 2008

HEY PPL!!

Just like last year, cadets will be helping Go Vap Centre, a local orphanage by teaching them basic English and Art & Craft, doing mural paintings on the walls of the building and entertaining the children there. The orphanage mainly adopts physically or mentally disabled children and abandoned children.

As you know, we badly need donations from the school to buy the materials required for the CIP in Vietnam. Play your part by donating cash (most desired) tomorrow as cadets collect donations! You won't get anything in return, but at least you know that you've helped someone in need, more than 2000 km away. Do donate! A dollar or two will do and of course, the more the better!

Donation is on voluntary basis. No one is forced to donate.

Hi all.. Here is the answer.

Choice 1 : a) speed time-graph
b) Not possible to have tis graph

Choice 2 : a)Speed-time ( a car decelerates to rest constanly, come to a stop
and acceleates uniformly again)
b) Speed-time graph (the object moving in constant acceleration)

Choice 3 : a)Velocity-time. This shows a train decelerating to rest at
a station,then accelerate back to the same speed.
b)Displacement-Time. This shows a car travelling at uniform speed
away from the starting point.

Choice 4 : a)Speed-time graph showing a car decelerating uniformly before coming to
a stop, and then accelerates uniformly.
b)Distance-time graph showing a car moving with constant speed.

Tips and tricks:
In order to have enough time for the whole test, u will need to know about how to "stop the time".
Firstly, open the assessment ---> choose ur section ---> study and write down the answer to the qn on a piece of paper ---> close the window ---> open the assessment again (u will notice that the time will go back to the time when u completed a previous qn) ---> choose ur qn (by clicking at the corresponding numbers below) ---> answer the qn, then it will lead u to the next qn ---> study and write down the answer to the qn on a piece of paper ---> blabla... ---> blabla...

Stanley here eh regarding the class chalet I DUN CARE whatever reasons u have as long as u said u are going in the first place , U MUST pay for it even if u are not going cos Kon Hunn's mother had already paid for the chalet .
